Road pricing, green fuels and rising oil prices were among the subjects tackled at a landmark debate hosted by the UK’s largest engineering institutions at Reading University earlier this year.

The Great Personal Transport Debate 2012, hosted by the IMechE, IET, IChemE and BCS, featured some of the industry's biggest names from the likes of the RAC, BP and Ricardo. The debate was chaired by IMechE Past President, John Wood MBE.
