Tim McMahon has worked in Thames Water since 2006 after reading a masters in Civil Engineering at Nottingham University. Joining on the graduate programme Tim quickly experienced an array of knowledge across the business and eventually settled in the water network side of the business, specifically leakage. Focusing on detection and the technical aspects of active leakage control Tim has focussed on innovation and technology as a side project to the normal day to day running of leakage in Thames Water. Tim has recently moved to a new role as Operational Control manager where he is in charge of the water in waste control centre accountable for ensuring a 24/7 service for it 13 million customers.
