Vulcan Bomber Heritage Award

The Vulcan Bomber became the 66th winner of an Institution of Mechnical Engineers Engineering Heritage Award on Thursday 27 October.

The plaque unveiling was covered by the local Lincolnshire press, and radio interviews with Professor Isobel Pollock, President Elect of the Institution, and Richard Campbell of the Heritage Committee, went through the reasons why the Vulcan was given the prestigious award.
